 Get a list of Grenada’s year round events as it is the most lively and exciting days at Grenada.It all start at January 1, as New Year’s Day is celebrated in the streets and bars.Several parties all around Grenada are held.From the 2nd day of January until the 24th day, the musical play “The Nutmeg Princess” is performed at Marryshow Folk Theatre.An annual tournament is held every 26th to 29th of January, The Spice Island Billfish Tournament.The best fishermen gather at this event to compete for EC$100,000 cash prize.A celebration for the next generation is held at the Trade Center on January 29, the Youth Festival.

 By the end of January until February 3, water races, craft markets, and street festival keep Grenada busy in accordance to the annual “Grenada Sailing Festival.” On the 7th day of February to the 26th day, a national holiday, Anniversary of Independence is celebrated.Cultural parades and shows crowd the street of Grenada.An exciting race is held on February 20, the True Blue Bay Resort: Pursuit Race.A race of yachts that starts from the Grenada Yacht Club up to True Blue Bay Resort is done.

 March 4 to 6 the International Cricket is held at the National Stadium at St. George.Great band music fills the streets for to days on the 6th and 7th day of March.Carnivals are also placed in Grenada for Carriacou Carnival Celebration. 12 to 18 of March is another celebration.St. Partick’s Day is commemorated through local arts and crafts exhibitions, food and drinks, and cultural parades.Athletes prepare for March 18 and 19 as they compete for Grenada Triathlon.The competition is organized by the Grenada Triathlon Committee.The race starts at the Camerhogne Park Grand Anse and finishes at St. George.The race is intended to test the endurance of the athletes.

 It is all about water sports at the Grenada Power Boat Regatta.The 19th to 24th of April is the most exciting days for boat owners.The streets of Grenada become solemn at Good Friday which usually falls at the 2nd or 3rd week of April.Then, the Powerboat Regatta and Easter Monday Kite Flying Competitions break the silence which is held every Easter Sunday.A grand fiesta is held at the seaside town of Victoria in celebration of St. Mark’s Day. Street festivals of agricultural produce, and local arts and crafts exhibits makes every block of Grenada alive.Each town and city at Caribbean gathers their best athletes to compete at Crifta Games, which falls on April 22 to 24.  There are still bunch of exciting competitions to watch at Petite Martinique Regatta, conducted every 23rd and 24th of April.  Sports games like swimming and boat races, tug-of-war, and greasy pole contest make every sports fanatic jumping with joy.

 The month of May starts with a Public Holiday, The Labor Day.Rallies, parades, and parties jam the streets of Grenada.Food critics and food lovers would just enjoy the month of June.The 9th to 11th day of the month is Grenada Spice Jazz Festival.The festival includes music, arts and crafts exhibits, and a load of sumptuous food exhibits.One of the most awaited island competitions is the Whitsuntide Games.Caribbean athletes aim for the top spot as they compete in different water sports games.Fisherman’s Birthday Celebrations held on June 29 is the month-ending event of June.The Church gives services and blessing to fishermen and their boats and fishing gadgets.A boat race and street festivals is followed.

 July opens up with to yacht races, the Venezuela Independence Day Yacht Race (July 2) and La Source Yacht Race (July 16).The Annual Carriacou Regatta ends the month of July and starts the month of August.The town of Greenville becomes loud and lively with local art and crafts parades, food exhibits, and music.It happens every 6th and 7th of August in the event of Rainbow City Festival.

 The parties and fiestas continues in the month of September, October, November, and December in celebration of more festivals, holidays, regattas, and celebrations.
