The currency used at St. Vincent is Eastern Caribbean Dollar (EC$). If your money has other currency, don’t worry. Banks and even at the airport could change your money into EC$. It is also advice that you use US dollars as there are no extra exchange rate charges when you use it.
Most of the establishments at St. Vincent accepts all major credit cards and debit cards. To make sure that your credit cards will work, it is better if you take a few minutes of your time to ask your credit card company if your credit card is accepted at St. Vincent. Export and Import of local and foreign currency at St. Vincent have some restrictions. You better check the limit or the memorandum about currency restrictions at the bank of at the nearest local government office at St. Martin.
