Have you tried envisioning yourself saying vows or the simpler "I DO" against the backdrop of a turquoise sea, with white sand warming your bare feet. If you're considering a tropical wedding, look no further than the three Cayman Islands. One of the few Caribbean nations that allow you to marry the same day you arrive, the Cayman Islands are fast becoming as famous for weddings as they are for their natural beauty and world-class diving.
Rather than having the wedding at home and then departing for a tropical honeymoon, more and more couples are bringing the wedding and their guests to paradise with them. Whether you are planning a grand, sophisticated church wedding or an intimate beachfront ceremony, the Cayman Islands provides scores of picturesque locales to make your “big day” larger than life. And, with a host of wedding professionals who’ll help you with everything from floral arrangements to legal requirements, tying the knot in this corner of paradise couldn’t be easier.
Don't think choosing a destination wedding means you have to compromise on your bridal style. Cayman Island hotels and resorts offer a full menu of wedding planning services, so you can have a wedding that expresses your values and personality. Nature-loving brides can be wed on the beach; romantic brides might choose an oceanfront gazebo at sunset; traditional brides can marry in chapels, churches, or hotels. You can even say your vows underwater in a diving ceremony. But no matter how you choose to marry, all Cayman Islands have one thing in common: Guests have time to hit the beaches, play golf and tennis, enjoy relaxing music and get to know each other far from the distractions of home.
Couples can marry the same day they arrive in the Cayman Islands, including those arriving by cruise ship.
