From the most southern part of Bahamas is a haven of nature lovers, The Inaguas. The Inaguas are two Islands with their territory joined together. The Great and Little Inagua form Inagua, which is only 60 miles away from the coast of Haiti and Cuba.
Ecotourism is the main attraction in Inagua. Different species of birds are found at the National Park of Inagua. More than a hundred species of exotic birds and an 80,000 population of flamingoes swarm the Park, even the rarest species of herons and other migratory birds can be found here.
Inagua is one of the top exporters of salt in the North America. Morton Salt’s Company has the largest salt factory establish for decades now at the seawater salt recovery. Salt has become the major industry of Inagua.
